I believe the US economy is slowing down, in fact I think it’s going to slow a lot more than people realize. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke noted that the U.S. job market and the economy have weakened in recent weeks. The Fed’s $600 billion Treasury bond-buying program is ending soon. The program was intended to keep interest rates low to strengthen the economy, but critics said it raised the risk of high inflation.
The reality is that the economy will never recover to what it once was but the most important question you need to ask yourself is “How am I going to survive these tough economic times?”
Those that just sit back and put their heads in the sand and act as if this problem is just an illusion is going to be sadly mistaken and extremely effected by this crisis. The United States is a trillion dollars in debt and they are still printing money to pay it off. This thoughtless action is bringing down the value of the united States currency.
